This car was originally delivered with the standard 806 horsepower CCX engine, which of course is fully U.S. EPA compliant.  However, upgrades were performed by Koenigsegg technicians at Ferrari of Scottsdale which raised the power output to 980 horsepower.
Trivia
One of three U.S. spec black CCX's, #044 can easily be distinguished from the other two.  This car has dark silver Dymag wheels, whereas #046 has the bright silver nine spoke wheels.  In addition, this car has a dark silver rear section and model call-out side panels, whereas on #048 these are black.

One additional black CCX has been spotted in the U.S. in the past, which was #043 after a repaint., before it became a CCXS/CCXRS.  In these photos you can see the distinctive lighter grey shade of #043's rear center section and model call-out side panels, which clearly distinguish it from the others.
